Welcome to Thunder Vista P-8

Thunder Vista P-8 is being built on a 13-acre site in Anthem Highlands, a planned community of about 2,600 residential units, located near state Highway 7 and Interstate 25, in the city and county of Broomfield. The school is eventually expected to serve between 900 – 1,000 preschool through eighth-grade students and is expected to open in Fall 2018.

The construction of the new school is possible thanks to voter support of a $350 million school construction bond in November 2016.

Young AmeriTowne On the Road

On the Road brings flagship educational program, Young AmeriTowne.  AmeriTowne is a unique hands-on lesson in free enterprise that introduces young people in Grade 5  the basic principles of our economic system. At the program’s culminating event, students working in business teams run their own town of nine shops for a day.

The On the Road program uses the same curriculum and culminating experience as our “brick and mortar” locations in Denver and Belmar.  Students study a 6-8 week curriculum at school, taught by their teachers, before running their own Towne for a day.  This intimate Towne experience features nine shops.
