Hello and welcome back Thunder Vista Students and Families! First, know that I miss you all very much and hope you are all safe and healthy while we are apart. No matter how far apart we maybe, I am still thinking about you and care very much. I am so excited to launch our virtual art classrom and I am looking forward to re-connecting with you all and continue our art learning. Let's keep spreading positivity, grace and encouragement as we engage together in our learning. I am excited about the opportunites we will have to learn and grow together as we wrap up the 2019-2020 school year.
Online Learning Information: We will begin online learning on April 1st.
Elementary students will use this website to explore a variety of creative and fun art activities and projects. Students are expected to complete 20 - 30 minutes of art activities per day (or 2 - 2.5 hours per week). To help guide you along, I will be posting new activities each week to get you thinking about different ways to create at home. You will be able to access art activities and ideas by using the tabs on the top left hand corner of this website or by clicking on the Google Slideshow and Padlet links below.
NEW: LET'S SHARE YOUR ARTWORK -Please take photos of your artwork and email them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org so I can create a slideshow of student artwork!

You can use these lessons as starting points for new creations, or keep them in mind as you continue on with your own ideas.
Middle school students can find their activities and assignments in our Google Classroom. Google Classroom is a learning management system that allows students to see assignments, submit their work, participate in class discussions and communicate with me.

Grading: Middle school students will continue to be graded using the district standards based grading scale (1-4).
Elementary students will not be graded.
Attendance: Weekly attendance will be taken on Friday at 3pm for Middle School students. Middle school advisory and elective attendance will be based on the completion/submission of assignments within google classroom.
