Pick-up and drop-off information for all locations

Pick-up and drop-off information for all locations

Our Buff community has truly come together through this challenge, and we are grateful for your support and positivity.

This week, students visited THV to create chalk messages for staff as they picked up teaching supplies, and some families have been creating signs with encouraging words for students to see as they load the buses on Monday. These gestures speak volumes about the strength of our community.

The image shows colorful chalk drawings on a concrete surface, including the words "We are one" and a heart-shaped symbol. In the background, there are buildings and people walking by.

Open Houses at each host school

So many of our P-3 kiddos and their families joined us at Centennial and Arapahoe Ridge elementary schools tonight for their grade specific open houses. Students and families were able to check in with their teachers, give hugs and high fives, and tour their new temporary classroom and school. Both were wonderful events, and we could feel the excitement as we get ready to return to school again on Monday!

On Friday, we have open houses for the remaining grade levels. We can’t wait to see you there:

Important Updates:

  • Pick-up and drop-off information for each temporary learning location: If you plan to drive your child to their new temporary learning location, please review the pick-up and drop-off information. Keep in mind, you will be joining traffic for the host school drop off too, so please build in extra time. We appreciate your patience.

Important Reminders:

  • Key Dates and Times: Students’ first day of school will be Monday, Jan. 12; School hours across all locations will be 8:00 a.m. - 3:10 p.m.
  • “We Are One” art projects: Make a sign or art project that shows that We Are One. Have your family take a picture of your sign or project and send it to me. I will highlight these projects on our Facebook.
  • Website: Bookmark thundervista.adams12.org/temporary-learning for all up-to-date and important information.

Next week, we embark on a great adventure, and we are excited to welcome our Buffs as we move forward together.
