Provide Feedback on Temporary Learning Plan

Provide Feedback on Temporary Learning Plan

Dear Thunder Vista families and staff:

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend today’s meeting concerning the fire that took place in the school’s crawlspace over break. We were able to present the plan for continuing student learning while remediation and repairs are being made to our school building. I value your ongoing partnership in support of our students.

I recognize many of you wanted to attend today’s meeting but were unable due to previous commitments or other circumstances. All of our community, whether they attended the meeting or not, can view the recording and slide presentation.

Provide Feedback on Temporary Learning Plan

At the meeting, we shared details of our temporary learning plan when we start school on Monday, Jan. 12. As a reminder, there will be no school Jan. 6 - Jan. 9 while school and district staff prepare for as seamless a transition as possible to our temporary learning model.

Temporary Learning Plan: In-person learning by grade band at four distinct locations (P-1, Grades 2-3, Grades 4-5, Middle)

  • Preschool, kindergarten and first grade at Centennial Elementary
  • Second and third grade at Arapahoe Ridge Elementary
  • Fourth and fifth grade at Hunters Glen Elementary
  • Grades 6-8 at Shadow Ridge Middle School

After viewing the recording and slide presentation.

Please complete the form by Sunday, Jan. 4 at noon. Your feedback will help inform the implementation of our temporary learning model. You can expect another communication on Monday, Jan. 5 with the latest information.

Thank you again for your patience, collaboration and commitment to supporting our students.

With gratitude,

Jody Roper
Principal
