Yearbook Expectations

Yearbook Expectations

This next week, our 2025–2026 yearbooks will begin to be distributed.

This is always such an exciting time as students reflect on the memories they made this year and enjoy having friends sign their yearbooks.

As excitement builds, we ask for your partnership in talking with your young people about the importance of keeping yearbook messages appropriate and respectful.

Because we are a school community serving students ages 3–14, it is especially important that students refrain from drawing or writing obscenities, inappropriate images, body parts, or dehumanizing language in yearbooks.

We want all students to feel safe, valued, and respected as important members of our Herd, while honoring the dignity of all.

Please also remind students that when signing a yearbook, they are handling someone else’s personal property.

Students who fail to meet these expectations will be responsible for replacing any defaced yearbooks, and consequences will be addressed through the Adams 12 Student Code of Conduct.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support in helping us end the school year on a positive and respectful note.
