Hi families! We are preparing for our time together at Arapahoe Ridge Elementary school. The staff at Arapahoe Ridge have been incredibly welcoming and supportive as we navigate this journey. 

Pickup and Drop-off Information

If you plan to drive your child, please know that parking is limited. Please do not arrive for dismissal earlier than 2:50 p.m.  Since our schedule is different from Arapahoe Ridge, this allows for their families and students to be done with their dismissal process before we begin ours. 

During arrival and dismissal, students should not walk through the parking lot unattended.

Bus Parking Only (Yellow arrows)

  • No Parent drop off or pick up.

Hug and Go Flow (Red arrows)

  • Enter from North Pecos - One lane turns into the hug and go lane.
  • The lane closest to the school is used for load/unload. Flow lane is for flowing traffic only - NO DROP OFF in this lane.
  • NO PARKING in any of the red areas. This is for hug and go only.

Parent Walk Up to Drop-off or Pickup

If you would like to walk your student to/from the door, you must park on Pecos south of the school - which is past the hug and go lane of the school and walk up the sidewalk.

Please cross at the designated crosswalk following the green arrows. Please do not use the crosswalk that goes across the hug and go flow for safety reasons.

Morning Drop-off Information

  • Students may arrive no earlier than 7:40 (there is no supervision until 7:40)
  • Parking lot is for staff parking only.
  • NO parking along the bus lane or in the flow lane (marked in red and yellow on the map)
  • Hug & Go Lane – No parking in this lane.  Please pull all the way forward to keep the flow of traffic moving. Cars must exit and head south on Pecos for the safety of our students.
  • Please do NOT stop at the crosswalk to drop students off.  Please use the Hug & Go Lane.

  • Students will be able to get breakfast when they arrive. 

  • If students arrive after 8,  enter through the front entrance.

Afternoon Pickup Information

  • NO parking along the bus lane or in the flow lane (marked in red and yellow on the map)
  • Hug & Go Lane – No parking in this lane (drivers must remain in their car).  Please pull all the way forward to keep the flow of traffic moving.  Cars must exit and head south on Pecos for the safety of our students.
  • If you would like to walk to the front of the school to meet your student, you must park on Pecos south of the school, and walk up the sidewalk. Cross at the designated crosswalk (following the green arrows). Please do not use the crosswalk that goes across the hug and go flow for safety reasons.
