Hi families! We are preparing for our time together at Hunters Glen Elementary. The staff at Hunters Glen have been incredibly welcoming and supportive as we navigate this journey.
Classroom Locations & Breakfast Information
Students will use the main entrance for breakfast. Also, if students arrive after 8, they will need to enter in through the front entrance.
Pickup and Drop-off Information
If you plan to drive your child, please know that parking is limited. Please do not arrive for dismissal earlier than 2:50 p.m. Since our schedule is different from Hunters Glen, this allows for their families and students to be done with their dismissal process before we begin ours.
During arrival and dismissal, students should not walk through the parking lot unattended.
Morning Drop-off Information
- Students may arrive no earlier than 7:40 (there is no supervision until 7:40)
- Parking lot gates close each morning at 7:30 for incoming cars (excluding school buses and those with handicap tags/stickers)
- Cars in the parking lot must be parked in a parking spot.
- NO parking along the bus lane or any corner (marked in red on the map)
- Hug & Go Lane – No parking in this lane. Please pull all the way forward to keep the flow of traffic moving. No U-Turn. Cars must exit and head north on Corona for the safety of our students.
- Please do NOT stop at the crosswalk to drop students off. Please use the Hug & Go Lane.
Afternoon Pickup Information
- Parking lot gates will close each afternoon at 2:25. Cars will not be permitted to enter or exit the parking lot during this time and must be clear of the bus lane. If you need to park, please arrive prior to 2:25.
- Cones will be removed for outgoing cars, and the gate will reopen once all buses have left the parking lot.
- Cars in the parking lot must be parked in a parking spot.
- NO parking along the bus lane or any corner (marked in red on the map)
- Hug & Go Lane – No parking in this lane (drivers must remain in their car). Please pull all the way forward to keep the flow of traffic moving.
- No U-Turn. Cars must exit and head north on Corona for the safety of our students.
