I am proud and honored to be apart of the Thunder Vista Herd! My family and I just moved back to Colorado after living in Billings, Montana for the last three years. I was lucky enough to take time off of teaching to be home with our youngest child, who is now a teenager. Before we moved, I taught 5th grade in Douglas County for five years, where I was part of helping my students build and gift bikes to other children through an organization called Wish For Wheels, running the health and wellness program, taking some of my students to tour Washington D.C., and providing students with a well-rounded education inside and outside of the classroom.
I was born in South Dakota, but moved here when I was two. I grew up in Lakewood, CO, attending Jeffco schools. I graduated college from Regis University and was hired on in Douglas County right after I graduated.
Myself, along with my husband, 24 year old son, 21 year old son, and 13 year old daughter have a love for the outdoors. I am an avid runner, mountain biker, hiker, skiier, birder and yogi. I also love to travel, watch football, listen to music and read books.
I am looking forward to getting to know and work with the amazing kids at Thunder Vista K8!
