My name is Coach Malanga (M for short), and I am a new member of the Thunder Vista community as a Health and Physical Educator. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in May of 2021 and this will be my first job as a teacher! When not in school, I enjoy engaging in a variety of activities like hiking, wrestling, and general exercise like going to the gym.
I am originally from Maryland, and joined the Marine Corps out of high school and was lucky enough to travel around the country as well as the world. Over the last for years, I have been grateful to call colorful Colorado home. While the mountains are beautiful and plentiful out here, I enjoy spending time on a beach reading a book and soaking up the sun.
I look forward to the start of the 2021-22 school year so I can begin building relationships with everyone in the school community
