I'm so excited for another year of teaching ELD at Thunder Vista!
I grew up in the Denver area and left Colorado to attend the Univeristy of California, San Diego. I received my BS in Psychology and my Masters in Education. My freshman year I was on the tennis team, and then I joined the rowing team for the next three years of undergrad. After completing my Masters degree, I taught 3rd grade in San Diego. The following year I moved up north to the Bay Area. I taught 3rd grade for three years and then taught 4th grade for 5 years. After nine years of teaching in California, my family decided to move back to Colorado. After teaching in Denver for a year, I decided to join the Adams 12 family. I have always had a passion for teaching English Language Development and I am thrilled to be teaching ELD at Thunder Vista!
I live at home with my husband and our two sons, William (7) and Samuel (5). We love to travel and spend time outdoors.
I absolutely love teaching at Thunder Vista and look forward to seeing the growth in our students this year.
