8th Grade Math - Mrs. Hayes

I am very excited to be part of the Thunder Vista team as an 8th grade math teacher.  I really enjoy working with students as they explore mathematical concepts and challenge their thinking.  

I received a BA in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fullerton.  I spent several years after college in the corporate world, achieving many personal goals and challenging my growth potential .  In 2016 I chose to make a career change so that I could spend more time with my family, which led me back to my first love of teaching.  

When not at school, I enjoy spending time outside cheering on my two boys (Jake & Dane) at their sports.
