I am so honored to be a part of the Thunder Vista community! I am coming to Adams 12 after many years of working as a school psychologist in Westminster. I feel inspired by my job every day because it allows me to connect with kids and families in our community. I am particularly passionate about supporting students with unique learning needs so they can feel supported in the classroom environment. I see social-emotional development and cooperative learning skills as essential to becoming balanced human beings who are prepared for the challenges of life. I incorporate the values of teamwork, goal setting, and emotional intelligence into every aspect of my work with children.
I have three beautiful children of my own that I love spending time with. On the weekends, we are often hiking, cooking, or having fun cheering on my home team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Although I grew up on the east coast, I received my Educational Specialist degree at the University of Colorado and I’ve been here ever since. I love getting to know families so please stop by my office to talk!
