As the Registrar, I enjoy serving the students, families and staff of the Thunder Vista P-8 community. I began working for Adams 12 in 2009 and worked for 10 years in Health Services serving three schools as well as supporting at the district level in Health Services and most recently, Student Support Services. After working at the district Educational Support Center for three years, I'm excited to be back in the school setting and part of the Thunder Vista Buffalo team!
I am a Kansas native and graduate of Kansas State University but have resided in Colorado since 1994 where my husband of 32 years and I have raised two children who are graduates of CU Boulder and UCCS. Our son is an engineer for Rivian in Palo Alto, CA and our daughter who resides in Edmond, OK has a degree in Biology/Exercise Science and also played collegiate basketball. We cherish family time and have two dogs, Lucky, a vizsla and Angus, our german short-haired pointer puppy!
My interests outside of work include cooking, gardening, entertaining and shopping but most of all, spending time with family and friends. I'm looking forward to meeting each of you!
